Healthy Bean Ltd Supports Whitley Bay Street Pastors: Protecting the Vulnerable During Winter

We have a long-standing history of donating to and collaborating with local councils to support regional initiatives.

This year, we are proud to announce our recent donation to the Severe Weather Emergency Protocols (SWEP) in North Tyneside, a vital initiative dedicated to protecting those experiencing homelessness during the coldest months of the year. At Healthy Bean Ltd, we believe in supporting the communities where we operate. As a leading provider of branded workwear, PPE, Footwear, Uniforms and hygiene products, our goal is centered on protection.

The Vital Work of Whitley Bay Street Pastors

A cornerstone of this winter support is the incredible work of the Whitley Bay Street Pastors. Established in December 2011 to patrol the Night-Time Economy, the Street Pastors have long been a reassuring presence in the community.

In 2015, North Tyneside Council reached out to the group to help support the homeless population from November to March through the SWEP operation. Since then, the Pastors have stepped up to manage the night-time care of those with nowhere else to go, ensuring that freezing temperatures do not lead to tragedy on our streets.
